Mismatched Dual Truck Tires Work Fine
My 1974 GM single axle, 2-ton grain truck was originally equipped with four 8.25 by 20 dual tires. When one of the tires went bad I decided to save money by making use of a pair of 9.00 by 20 tires that I already had. I installed one 9.00 by 20 tire on the inside on each side of the truck.
